Before each use, trim wick to 1/4”. Allow the top layer of wax to melt all the way around the jar before blowing out the candle. On average, it takes up to two hours to achieve a full melt pool. In addition to the type of wax, wicks, and fragrance, a full melt pool is essential to the performance of the candle. Wax has memory, so extinguishing the flames before the melt pool is achieved will result in tunneling. This means the wax will only melt in certain areas, and will significantly reduce the performance of your candle. Don’t burn your beautiful new candle for just 30 minutes. You can maximize your candle performance by making sure you have at least two hours to enjoy the Amora Design Studio candle experience. As a general rule, do not burn candles for more than four hours at a time.

Always burn candles on a flat, even surface, and within site. Keep away from flammable objects, children, and pets.

 

CRYSTAL-INTENTION CANDLES

Light the candle, and as it burns, enjoy the amazing custom scent! Each time the glow of the candle catches your eye, validate, and affirm your intention. Here are a few of our favorite affirmations:

  • I accept all blessings, opportunities, wealth, goodness, love, prosperity, and light into my life.

  • I intend for my mind to be receptive to clarity, inspiration, and any information that will guide me toward my goals.

  • I intend for my partner and I to lovingly support each other in our individual dreams and goals.

You may remove the crystal at any time you choose, as long as it is visible, loose, and the flame has been extinguished. Allow the wax to cool slightly. Then, use a (metal) spoon to carefully remove the crystal from the wax. When the flame is exhausted, and the crystal is retrieved, your intention has been set. You can simply wipe off the excess wax or use an alternative method of cleaning. If you choose to use any alternative cleaning methods, please be sure to conduct thorough research on the best cleaning methods for your unique crystal.

FAQs

  1. Why soy wax? Soy wax is derived from 100% vegetables (soy beans). It is an eco-friendly, all natural, renewable resource. Soy wax is clean burning, and soy wax candles last longer than petroleum based paraffin wax candles.

  2. What kind of fragrance do you use? We use phthalate-free fragrances and essential oils. Our candles have excellent cold throw (the strength of the scent it gives off when it is not lit) and hot throw (the strength of the scent it gives off when it is lit).

  3. Why do the wicks crackle and pop like tiny fire works when I light my candle? This is an indication that your wicks need to be trimmed. Remember, as a general rule of candle care, you want to trim the wick to 1/4” before each use. Untrimmed wicks may curl or cluster, forming a “mushroom” effect. When lit, the “mushroom” may spark and pop, releasing soot (or carbon build up) into the air and into the candle vessel. The mushroom might also hold a flame that is simply too large for the vessel. An unstable wick, and flame are both hazardous. Please practice responsible candle care.
